Eligible students are York Suburban High School seniors.  

Applications are scored along very objective criteria with 50% of the score reflecting financial need and the other 50% reflecting scholastic merit, activities, work experience, and other personal goals. 

Scholarship funds can be applied to any accredited post-secondary institution. This includes two year colleges, four year colleges and universities, and trade or professional schools. 

All applicants' identities remain anonymous during the review process.

Most York Suburban Dollars for Scholars awards are renewable awards.
