York Suburban Dollars for Scholars accepts volunteers on an ongoing basis. As a local chapter with purely volunteer support, we have been able to keep our overhead low and maximize resources for scholarships.  In order to do this, we need individuals to donate time toward our cause. There are a multitude of ways to help, all with varying levels of commitment. • Battle of the Buildings Planning Committee Members: Every other year the district hosts the Battle of the Buildings event with proceeds supporting our Dollars for Scholars chapter.  If you are interested in this event and want to help with it please let us know.

• Board Member: Represent York Suburban Dollars for Scholars in the local community and attend quarterly meetings to discuss and vote on agendas.
